Our Deluxe Cabinet grade consist of using the finest locally harvested hard and soft woods for cabinet face frames, doors, drawer heads, trim and moldings.
Drawer boxes are solid Oak dovetailed in a time honored Cabinet Maker tradition, and have 1/4" Birch plywood bottom boards.
Cabinet box or carcass is constructed of 1/2" Cabinet grade Birch plywood painstakingly sanded and clear sprayed with a smooth furniture-like finish. All cabinets receive adjustable 3/4" Birch plywood shelves, edge banded with Birch veneer edgebanding. Full cabinet depth in wall, base and pantry cabinets.
Doors are hinged to the face frame, using semi-concealed knife hinges in traditional style cabinets.

Our Deluxe 32mm Cabinet is a Frameless cabinet using 3/4" Birch plywood for the box or carcass. Doors are hinged directly to the cabinet side providing a full overlay appearance, using a fully concealed hinge.
The remainder of the cabinet components are the same as used in the Traditional Style.

Our Standard grade cabinets consist of the same components as the Traditional and 32mm Deluxe cabinets with the exception of the type of plywood used. In our Standard grade we substitute Vinyl clad plywood in every case where plywood is needed. Any exposed end of the cabinet receives a veneer core plywood in the same specie as was chosen by the customer for their particular project. There is of course a substantial savings in the cost of a Standard grade cabinet that relates to labor. By no means is the High Quality of a Valley Wood Works custom built project diminished. Our vinyl clad plywood is of the highest quality with the pre-finished appearance of natural Birch plywood. It's very hard the discern the difference.

With all Deluxe and Standard kitchen cabinet grades listed above you will receive the following at no extra charge:
1. Brass shelf standard fastened securely to the cabinet side, and positive fixed adjustable shelf clips. Adjusting increments of 1/2" make this feature suitable for any storage requirement.
2. Adequate Crown molding plus under cabinet molding for all wall cabinets.
3. 1/4" kick board matching the cabinet finish to conceal shims when cabinets are installed on an uneven floor.
4. One under sink roll-out used to organize and store those cleaning items frequently used in the kitchen.
5. Side mounted, high quality nylon bearing drawer glides. Full extension HD glides are offered as an option.
6. Solid Oak dovetailed drawers.
7. Stainless steel tilt trays are installed in all sink base and bathroom vanity cabinets.
8. Your choice of over 200 types of cabinet pulls and knobs. Some specialty styles are at an additional cost.
9. All cabinets are built to fit the space available, hence eliminating unsightly filler boards. This gives your project a fine quality appearance at no extra cost for custom features as you will find with other leading brands.

This is a Traditional style cabinet utilizing the face frame method of construction. The 32mm style is not available in the Limited cabinet grade.
Our Limited Cabinet grade consist of using the finest locally harvested hard and soft woods for Cabinet face frames, doors, and drawer heads.
Drawer boxes are solid Oak with box joint construction and 1/4" Birch plywood bottom boards. Cabinet box or carcass is constructed of 1/2" vinyl plywood in a natural birch finish. Shelves are made with 3/4" vinyl plywood and edge banded with matching vinyl edgebanding.
Doors are fastened to the face frame using partial wrap hinges in a Burnish Brass finish. Exposed cabinet ends have a specie veneer core plywood end matching the type lumber you choose for your project.
Again cabinets are built to fit the space available, eliminating filler boards.
Pull or Knob hardware are at and extra charge, many can be purchased for less than $3.00 each. Kick board of 1/4" matching plywood is included with all kitchen and bath cabinets.
